"SPARTAN NIGHT"
FOURTH ANNUAL SUPERINTENDENT’S GALA
MARCH 29, 2008
6:00 P.M. – 11:00 P.M.
PLEASANT VALLEY COUNTRY CLUB |
|
|
|
On March 29, 2008, the Uxbridge Superintendent, on behalf of the Uxbridge
Education Foundation (UEF) will host his Fourth Annual Superintendent’s
Gala at Pleasant Valley Country Club. The proceeds from this event will
allow the UEF the opportunity to provide grant funding that will
supplement the district’s operating budget. The grant funding will be
allocated to teachers and staff who are developing innovative approaches
to the curriculum. In addition, funds raised by the UEF will be used for
scholarships to graduates of Uxbridge High School.
The Superintendent’s Gala is our major fundraising event for the year. A
key part of this event will be the Silent Auction. The UEF is reaching out
to the community for donations to the Silent Auction. Do you own a
business that can offer a product or service? Do you have a vacation or
rental property you can donate for a weekend? Do you own season tickets to
a local sports team? We are also looking for gift certificates, gift
baskets, electronic equipment, and sports memorabilia. Items to donate are
limited only to your imagination! All donors will be acknowledged in the
silent auction brochure at the Gala, and published in local media articles
following the event. If you would like to make a donation to this
worthwhile cause, please contact Judi Lanoue at (508) 278-8648 x107 or
jlanoue@uxbridge.k12.ma.us
You can purchase tickets to the Gala at the Superintendent’s office at
(508)278-8648 x102, any of the school building main offices or any
Uxbridge Education Foundation member. Tickets are limited and should be
purchased by March 21st. Ticket prices are: $55/person, $100/couple.
Tables can be bought and reserved for 8 or 10 people.
Thank you for your support of the Uxbridge Education Foundation and the
Uxbridge Public Schools.
