I also coordinate a group of local residents that travel to the Mustard Seed in Worcester on the first Thursday of each month. The Mustard Seed is a soup kitchen that feeds those in need. They are open 6 nights a week. Our volunteers go there once a month to help serve the hungry and then clean up after they are finished. We leave Uxbridge at 4:50 pm and are back home by 7 pm. If you would like to participate in this very worthwhile cause, please contact me as I am building the schedule for next year. This is also a great opportunity to volunteer with your teenagers and show them to spirit of volunteering! All adults will have to have a CORI check in order to participate.
