The Attic Children’s Museum (CLICK HERE >>

hands-on, interactive museum geared to elementary and middle
school aged children. The exhibits and concept boards are
created and maintained by the high school students through
the Explore and Discover elective class. The materials at
the museum align with the district’s curriculum and the MA
State Frameworks and touch upon topics in science, math,
history, geography, culture, and the arts.
Some of our permanent exhibits include:
• Giant Spyrograph
• Interactive Water Wheel
• Microscopes
• Bubble Area
• Dinosaur Area
And lots of concept boards that cover topics such as:
• Colors and shapes
• Electricity
• Music and Sound
• Locks

Hours:
The museum is currently open to the public every Saturday
from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm and to groups by appointment.
Schedule a visit for your class, home schooled students, or
daycare children!
Location and Direction:
We are located in the Bernat Mill, off of Route 16 in
Uxbridge.
If coming from the east take Route 16 into Uxbridge. After
passing St. Mary’s church on your left watch for Depot
Street and the Bernat Mill Complex. Take a left into the
complex (just before the large mosaic murals on the brick
wall). The Attic Children’s Museum is located straight
ahead, above the Uxbridge Youth Center.
If coming from the west, take Route 16 into Uxbridge and
then a right onto Rt. 122 at the lights, and an immediate
left back onto Route 16 (at the Mobile Station). Almost
immediately on your right look for the large mosaics on the
brick wall and take a right immediately after into the
Bernat Mill Complex. The Attic Children’s Museum is located
straight ahead, above the Uxbridge Youth Center.
