At the Taft Elementary School we are committed to creating a
community of learners in which all children strive for
excellence. We believe that all students can learn and we
value our students’ individuality. We provide all children
with a standards based curriculum taught using best teaching
practices in a nurturing environment. We teach our children
to show respect for themselves and others and to take
responsibility for their actions. We reach out to our
students' families to join us in a home-school partnership
to help our students become productive community members.
