Introduction
Welcome to Grade 8!
This is a very important year since grade eight serves as a
transition year from middle school to high school. The Grade 8
team strives each day to Recognize and nurture the strengths and
passions in each person (student, teacher, and administrator) by
focusing on the positive and emphasizing the core values of
caring, family, respect, responsibility, and trust.

Responsibilities
• Be prepared for
class every day by being on time and having appropriate
materials. This includes, but is not limited to, books,
notebooks, and a pen (blue or black ink) or pencil.
• Homework will be assigned on a regular basis
• All graded assignments need to be signed by a parent or
guardian.
• The student is responsible for making up any assignments that
were missed due to absence. Students should contact the teacher
or a responsible classmate to find out what was missed and to
complete the missed work in a timely manner.
