Starting May 27th, Officer Deveau will be coming to Taft to present the Eddie Eagle GunSafe® program.  Eddie Eagle is a gun accident prevention program that seeks to help parents, law enforcement, community groups and educators navigate a topic paramount to our children’s safety.  Eddie and his Wing Team are on a mission to help you teach Pre-K through 4th graders what to do if they ever come across a gun.  

We realize that some families may feel nervous about this program.  For more information on the program, please check out the Eddie Eagle website.  If for some reason you do not wish for your child to participate in the program, please fill out the attached opt out form.  You only need to fill out the form if you do not want your child to participate.   Eddie Eagle Opt Out Form
