Grade Two Teacher Receives Award
Taft Early Learning Center Second Grade Teacher, Ms. Jaclyn Brochu was honored this morning by the Blackstone Valley Superintendents' and Curriculum Consortium receiving the "Promising Practices Education Award" for the Uxbridge Public Schools. The Promising Practices recipients have been selected because they motivate and inspire students. Their lessons encourage collaboration between students and staff, and demonstrate best practices in meeting student academic and social-emotional needs.
Ms. Brochu is going into her third year at Taft, and she is a true leader and inspires not only her students but her colleagues. Ms. Brochu is willing to take risks and try new things. We are fortunate to have her here at Taft.
