Whitin Weekly November 3rd

Dear Whitin Families,

The following is the update for the week of November 3, 2019.

Students will be participating in the Whitin Warrior Challenge this week sponsored by our PTO.  A reminder this is the PTO’s one and only fundraiser for the year. All money raised goes directly back to the school for field trips, end of year celebrations, furniture, books for the classroom and so much more.  Please help your child raise funds, this is the last week to do so. There are also incentives for students who get donations, homeroom challenges, raffles for airpods, gumball machines and Amazon gift cards.

School Council: We are seeking new members to be a part of our school council.  We are looking for parents of students in grades 4-7 who are interested in being an advocate for school improvement.  The council advises the administration on programs, budget and school improvement. Meetings are held once a month on the last Wednesday of the month from 3:15-4:15.  If you are interested in being a part of the council please email me ldemarco@uxbridge.k12.ma.us

Lost and Found: There is an ever growing assortment of sweatshirts, lunch boxes, and water bottles in the Whitin Lost and found. Please check the box in the gym and the front table in the cafeteria to claim any lost items.

PTO update:

If you have a current Cori check on file with the Whitin Office and are free on Wednesday or Thursday this week please sign up to volunteer!

Please be sure students wear gym attire to school on the day of their challenge.

Grades 4 & 5 will be on Wednesday and grades 6 & 7 will be on Thursday this week. All students will be participating!

Here are the Stats for the Weekend Challenge: Battle of the Homerooms
