Week of April 1

Whitin Weekly

Dear Whitin Families,

The following is the update for the week of March 31, 2019.

This week we start MCAS testing.  Monday and Tuesday is session 1 & 2 of ELA for 4th & 5th grade.  Wednesday and Thursday is session 1 & 2 of ELA for 6th & 7th grade.

Please note the following:

Students should get a good night sleep before testing as well as eat a good breakfast each morning.  In addition, it is important that students come to school on time the days they are assigned to test.  This ensures that students are prepared to do their best on the test.

Students are allowed to have a dry nut-free snack and a water-bottle in the testing location.  Students are also allowed to have gum during the testing sessions. If a student is not able to chew gum, they are allowed to bring in hard candy such as mints or jolly ranchers.  No other candy will be allowed during testing.

After School Math Program

A reminder to those students participating in the math after school program, sessions 5 is tomorrow (Monday) after school from 2:05-3:15.
