Whitin Weekly October 17th

Dear Whitin Families,

The following is the update for the week of October 17, 2021.

Bus Information: Please be advised as we enter into the fall and winter season, the windows on the bus must be kept open due to COVID protocols.  We ask that your children dress in layers as the mornings start to turn much colder.

Whitin PTO

The Whitin Warrior Challenge is coming up soon.  Be on the lookout for more details about this annual fundraiser.

The PTO is looking for local businesses to sponsor our students. If you are interested in sponsoring please email the PTO at whitinpto@uxbridge.k12.ma.us

The Whitin PTO is a nonprofit organization so this donation would be a 100% tax deductible write off for your company. Thank you for your support!

Progress Reports: 6th and 7th grade progress reports will be distributed Friday, October 29th.  Please note 4th and 5th grade do not receive progress reports.

Food Service: Lunch and breakfast are free for all students this year. If students plan on taking a second lunch, that lunch will have a cost. All students will pass through the lunch line and have to input their code at the register if they are taking a meal or purchasing a second lunch.

Breakfast is served each morning in the cafeteria.  Students in 6th and 7th grade may grab a breakfast from the cafeteria and eat it in the gym or during homeroom.  Students in 4th and 5th grade may eat breakfast in the cafeteria or in their homeroom.

From Nurse Gauthier:

Please fill out this Medical Information Form for each student you have at Whitin. This will assist us in updating your student's school medical record and provide permission to administer medication during the school day if needed.
