Whitin Weekly April 10th
Dear Whitin Families,
The following is the update for the week of April 10, 2022.
The ELA MCAS is this week for all grade levels. Students will be taking the assessment on Tuesday and Thursday of this week. It is important that students are in school on time during testing days and that they get a good night's sleep and have a healthy, nutritious breakfast.
Students are also reminded to bring a water bottle full of water only. They are also allowed to have a nut-free, dry snack as well as gum or hard candy (mints or jolly ranchers). No other food or candy will be allowed.
It is also important that Chromebooks are fully charged for testing. We appreciate parents' assistance with reminding your child to charge their Chromebook the night before testing.
Uxbridge Residents for Recreation
"Uxbridge Residents for Recreation" has a goal of increasing efforts towards developing a Recreation Department within the Town of Uxbridge. An active, vibrant Recreation Department would foster the emotional, social and physical development of the children and adults that live in Uxbridge while fostering a sense of community amongst residents.
They are working with the Uxbridge Town Manager and the survey below will help to gain a better understanding of what the town is looking for in terms of recreation opportunities for their children and families.
