The School Choice Program allows students from Massachusetts' towns other than Uxbridge to attend the Uxbridge Public Schools. The School Choice Program is only available for non-residents, as determined by the Department of Education. Transportation to Uxbridge will be the responsibility of the parent. The number of students admitted will be based on space availability. 

SCHOOL CHOICE INFORMATION FOR 2024-2025

Uxbridge Public Schools will be collecting school choice applications from now through the start of the school year. There will be two approval dates for school choice students prior to the beginning of the 2024-2025 school year.

The deadline for applications for those approval dates are: 

June 13, 2024 by 3:30 p.m.  (Approval Date: June 14, 2024) (COMPLETED)

August 15, 2024 by 3:30 p.m. (Approval Date: August 16, 2024) (COMPLETED)

School choice applications will be accepted and processed on a first come, first serve basis after August 16th until September 30th, if seats are available. After September 30th, only current Uxbridge students moving during the school-year will be eligible to remain through school choice given that seats are available.***   

On April 2, 2024, the Uxbridge School Committee voted to continue with the School Choice program and to allow the following number of school choice seats to be open for the 2024-2025 school year.
