EDUCATIONAL EQUITY AND ACCESS ADVISORY COUNCIL
The Uxbridge Public Schools district is creating an advisory council, the Uxbridge Public Schools Educational Equity and Access Advisory Council and are enlisting your support and participation. The MA department of education requires Uxbridge Public Schools to engage in efforts to identify and remove barriers for families and students that may exist based on race, socioeconomic status, culture, special needs, gender, LGBTQ and others. Rather than hiring an outside equity consultant to identify inequities that may exist, Uxbridge Public Schools is seeking community engagement and dialogue because we believe that our parents and community know what is best for students and we should work together to help all of our students succeed. The American dream stands upon the notion that we are all equal and we must ensure that all of our children experience this in the Uxbridge Public Schools.
Please click the link below that works best for your understanding of the Educational Equity and Access and Advisory Council. At the end of each letter is a Google Form for you to fill out that indicates your interest in participating. We look forward to working with you!
