As the end of the year approaches, we continue to be very busy at Taft. Teachers are packing up student materials this week for pick up June 9th and June 11th. Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns!

Important Message:
We are working on plans to return student belongings to families. We are currently working out all the details but we do know that pick up will be the week of June 8th. Details will be coming out soon. -
Taft Update 5/17
I hope you are all staying healthy and active. The Taft staff is working hard on remote learning and balancing what is too much and too little. Please continue to reach out to teachers or myself if you are in need of technology. Though the building is closed, learning continues. As a staff, we will also be working on professional development, curriculum mapping, and end of the year activities such as placement. Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns!

UHS - New Innovation Pathways - 4th Designation!
The Baker-Polito Administration today awarded designations to 18 high schools for launching new programs, known as Innovation Pathways, that will connect students’ learning to a career pathway by providing work-based learning experiences with rigorous technical coursework. Uxbridge High School is the proud recipient of its fourth designation, this time in business, finance, and logistics.

2020-2021 BUS ROUTE CHANGES
The bus routes and pick up times at the Taft Early Learning Center, Whitin School and the Uxbridge High School, may have changed for your child with the in-person opening of schools.

Uxbridge Superintendent Search Committee - 3 Finalists
Seven semi-finalists were interviewed in executive sessions on Wednesday, March 3; Thursday, March 4; and Wednesday, March 10. The Search Committee then deliberated on the selection of finalists to forward to the Uxbridge School Committee for their consideration.

UHS Principal to Present at National Conference
Uxbridge Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Frank Tiano, is proud to announce that Uxbridge High School Principal Michael Rubin will be presenting as part of a panel discussion at this year’s South by Southwest Education Conference, commonly referred to as SXSW-EDU.
