Long-Term Substitute Teachers
Good morning!
We are excited to share with you news of two long-term substitute teachers, who are joining our faculty at UHS temporarily.
Evan Bates takes over for Ms. Casandra Bancroft, who is out on a maternity leave. Until last year, Mr. Bates worked in the Southbridge Public Schools as a co-teacher and special education liaison. Prior to that, he had worked in a couple of special education schools, and more recently has served as a substitute in the Dudley-Charlton Regional School District. He is a graduate of UMass.
Jordan Kolodziejzak (Ms. K) is currently a graduate student from Assumption who is working on her Masters Degree in School Counseling, and many of our students have gotten to know her since the start of the year as an intern with our counseling department. She has been working closely with Ms. Smith on learning the particulars of that caseload before the start of Ms. Smith's maternity leave, and during Ms. Smith's absence after the holiday break, Ms. K will be transitioning to the role of substitute counselor from her internship.
We look forward to having them both in our community!
Have a great rest of the week.
