The Technology Education program allows students to study the technical aspects of our society in addition to providing opportunities for students to express themselves with respect to their abilities, interests, and talents. This allows the students to experience many technical skills and expand on their knowledge required for job entry. This program also provides for the study of Computer Technologies which will focus on software applications. The goals include developing an awareness of technology and being responsible for making assessments, understanding of technology, and its effect on individuals, society, the environment, and its relationship with many different disciplines. Students are required to use the Engineering Design Process, demonstrate an understanding of technological systems, as well as production and services. As students obtain technological literacy we encourage them to become responsible citizens and lifelong learners.
