I want to share with my students how visual education can open up the way they think and communicate. I like to encourage storytelling, expression, risk, and independent thinking.
We will be working on drawing, painting, and mixed media collage. Students will explore a variety of approaches to art, such as learning about art history, art in other cultures, and work that reflect their own self-expression.
Please have your child dress appropriately for art class. Art class is not the time to wear new clothes or to dress up. Children will use materials that can stain and class can get messy.
