Uxbridge Public Schools – Two-Hour Delay – Wednesday, January 7th

Due to inclement weather and hazardous driving conditions across the region, Uxbridge Public Schools will operate on a two-hour delay today, Wednesday, January 7th.
While roads in Uxbridge have been treated and are clear, we have concerns for faculty and staff who travel from surrounding areas. Additionally, sidewalks remain treacherous and icy, as they have not been treated. The delay will allow time for conditions to improve.
What this means:

• All schools will open two hours later than normal
• School buses will run two hours later than their regular schedule
• There will be no morning preschool session for students who attend the morning session only
• Child Care will operate at its normal hours
• Breakfast will not be served; however, it will be available for students who need it

Please allow extra time for your morning commute and use caution on the roads and sidewalks.
