Good evening Uxbridge Public Schools families, faculty, and staff,

Due to slick and slippery road conditions and forecasted overnight temperatures in the single digits with a high potential for freezing, the district will operate on a 2‑hour delayed start tomorrow (Tuesday, January 27th, 2026).

I have consulted with public safety officials, Vendetti Bus Company, and the Uxbridge DPW in making this decision. We will reevaluate conditions in the morning; if plans change, a final decision about a potential full cancellation will be issued by 6:30 AM tomorrow.

I want to thank the Uxbridge DPW for their hard work clearing the streets — they have been working straight through since before the onset of the storm and will continue through this evening. I also want to thank our school facilities department for their diligent work clearing school properties throughout the day today.
